JJ HGV drivers, Levente Deak and Marian-Vasile Nastase, scooped accolades at the FWD Wholesale Star Awards, which took place on Tuesday at the Houses of Parliament.
The event hosted by the Shadow Business and Industry Minister, Bill Esterson, MP, celebrated investments and achievements in 'Skills, Training and Apprenticeships'.

Levente Deak and Marian-Vasile Nastase both invested their time and effort into completing the HGV Skills Bootcamp training to get their HGV Class 2 licence, through the FWD training and career development course.
Recognised for their contributions to the wholesale sector, both men completed the exams in December 2022 with flying colours first time, and completed the programme in record timings!
The two drivers from our Enfield and Sidcup branches continued to provide outstanding customer service on their daily duties while undertaking the programme, and are both fantastic role models to their colleagues.

Levente and Marian are now equipped with even more skills and knowledge to help them succeed on the road, and Marian now holds the title of the youngest HGV driver at JJ Foodservice!
Speaking on his win, Marian said "This is just the beginning for me. This is the first step and I'm really excited for what will come next."
Levente added, "We are proud to be offered this opportunity by our company. We're extremely grateful for the support we received from our managers, Lukasz and Jonathan. Thank you JJ!"
