JJ Team Egg-cited After Record Chicken Sales

We have been selling a record amount of chicken after offering savings as high as 300% per kilogram compared with major supermarkets.
More than 20% of our fresh chicken sales now go to household customers.
Our Chief Product Officer, Sezer Ozkul said, “Smaller packs of fresh chicken have been hugely popular with households.
“They offer a middle ground between traditional wholesale and retail packs, at unbeatable prices.”
Prices for JJ’s fresh chicken breast fillets are as little as £3.25 per kg. This compares with with £5-£7.50 per kg at major supermarkets.
JJ achieved record sales of more than one million kilograms of chicken in April 2020, which is up 10% on the same period the previous year.
35% of our customers are now households after millions of consumers rushed to find alternative grocery delivery companies at the start of the pandemic.
“Even as the lockdown eases, we will continue to offer our household range. We hope that people will take advantage of the great savings,” said Sezer.
