JJ Offers Mental Health Support as Restaurants Prepare to Re-open
Updated: 23 February, 2024
JJ has launched a campaign to share deals, education and mental health support ahead of restaurants re-opening on May 17th.
“Our team has been busy preparing products and services to make sure that restaurants get off to the best start,” said Chief Sales Officer, Baris Kacar.
“We have a few plans in store, including outside of our traditional services.”
First, a ‘Back to Business’ banner on the website will guide shoppers to best-sellers and promotions on foodservice essentials.
This includes extended hygiene and cleaning ranges to support restaurants deep cleaning.
Education will also be key to re-opening successfully. “Regulations are changing all the time – so we will help our customers to stay up to date with email updates,” said Baris.
Promoting Well Being
Finally, to promote well-being, JJ has secured discounted Mental Health First Aid training for restaurant managers.
“It’s been a tough year for the hospitality sector, and we want to do everything we can to help,” said Baris.
JJ will host a Mental Health First Aid training session with Aiding Mental Health at 20% off the usual price.
The half-day online course offers an introduction to mental health issues and includes all course materials and certificates.
Caterers can register for the training at http://go.jjfoodservice.com/WellBeing
The support is available to all JJ customers and businesses that register for a free account.
Last month, JJ announced a new faster shopping App, and a driver recruitment campaign to bolster service ahead of restaurants reopening.
