Updated: 17 December, 2025

We were proud to recently join Age UK Enfield for the launch of their brand-new Mabel Churn Centre!

As part of our ongoing community partnership, we supported the event by producing a launch video that highlights the incredible volunteering opportunities available with the charity – from chair Zumba and cookery classes to Men’s Sheds and singing sessions.

Meet PARO The Robot Seal

One of the day’s highlights was meeting PARO, the AI robotic seal designed to provide comfort and reduce loneliness. It was an inspiring experience, and we’d like to extend huge congratulations to Sian Peers, Health and Wellbeing Practitioner and Volunteer Co-ordinator; Helen Oliver, Age UK CEO; and the entire Age UK Enfield team for the successful relocation to the new site.

Supporting 7 million eldery people a year

We highly recommend supporting Age UK, the UK’s largest charity dedicated to helping older people. Age UK supports more than 7 million older people every year with companionship, advice, and practical help. Across the UK, there are thousands of volunteers and local branches offering opportunities to make a real difference in your community.

A special thank you to our talented in-house videographer, Adi Paleri, who volunteered his time to create the launch video and shine a light on these important volunteering opportunities.
