Growth Plans Come to Life at JJ Connect

At our recent JJ Connect conference at Convene, Bishopsgate in October, we unveiled ambitious plans for the future.

Speaking at the conference, our Chief Operating Officer Kaan Hendekli shared our five-year expansion strategy, which includes eight new branches and its first overseas branch in the Netherlands. “We’re close to securing our new location for 2026 and we’re on the lookout for more,” said Hendekli.

New Branches, New Opportunities

The new branch in the Midlands is part of our five-year growth strategy. This plan includes eight new branches across the UK and even our first overseas site in the Netherlands! We’re close to securing our next location for 2026 and are actively looking for more.

Investing in Capacity and Choice

To support this expansion, we’re investing in a 25,000 sq. ft multi-temperature facility at our Enfield HQ. This will boost capacity for frozen, chilled, and ambient products – helping us grow our range to 5,000 SKUs by next year. We’ve already reached 3,800 SKUs, a 27% increase on last year. More choice, same great service – that’s our promise.

Digital Growth and Supplier Partnerships

Digital continues to lead the way, with a record 79% of orders now placed online. Our nationwide kiosk rollout, plus increased use of our app, website, and EDI channels, means faster, more convenient ordering for customers.

We also launched Future Partners, a new supplier initiative featuring ‘Speed Connecting’ sessions with our buyers. And our Buy More Save More campaign is still delivering fantastic value for caterers and strong results for suppliers.
