High-quality Japanese-style Binchotan charcoal made from 100% pure fir sawdust. Designed for Yakitori barbecues and tabletop grills, it burns at a lower temperature than regular charcoal but lasts much longer – ideal for slow, controlled cooking. Flame-free, smokeless and odourless, allowing the natural flavours of Japanese cuisine to shine. These briquettes can be extinguished and reused multiple times.

Usage info

Step 1: Create a pyramid shape by placing 3 fire starters at the bottom and a mixture of kindling and charcoal on top. Step 2: Light the fire starters. The flames will rise from the bottom, heating the kindling and charcoal quickly and evenly. Note that it will take about 60 minutes for the charcoal to heat up.
