Spicy Jacket Wedges are made of washed, sorted, cut in slices (1/8- 40-50 mm), blanched potatoes. The sliced potatoes are coated with a spicy coating, pre-fried, deep frozen and packed in polytechnic bags. This product is suitable for deep fat frying, frying pan, oven and combination-steamer.

Cooking Instructions: Frying pan: Heat some oil or butter. Put the Spicy Jacket wedges in the frying pan as soon as the butter is melted. Bake the Spicy Jacket wedges for about 10-15 minutes at average temperature until golden yellow and crispy. Turn regularly. Oven: Preheat the oven during 10 minutes to 220C (428F) (gas oven level 5, electrical oven level 7). Spread the Spicy Jacket wedges (± 500g)on a baking tray (preferably on baking paper). Place the tray in the middle of the oven. Bake the Spicy Jacket wedges for approx. 15-20 minutes until golden yellow and crispy. Meanwhile turn them. Fry smaller quantities for a shorter period. Preparation time will be shorter in a turbo-heating.
Deep fat frying: Preheat frying oil to 175C (347F). Fry quantity (±500 g) for about 3-5 minutes until golden yellow and crispy. Fry smaller quantities for a shorter period.
